I do honestly think Ochako likes the sound of Izuku going off on his muttering tangents, the sound is pleasent to her ears cause she knows without even looking at him that he’s off in his own little world, can imagine him pulling at his lower lip or scratching his chin as he keeps on thinking.

And she laughs because the image is so vivid and so Izuku and, whenever she looks his way when she hears the signeture muttering, usually exactly what he’s doing, that she can’t help but smile fondly at him.

She thinks its cute when he furrows his brow or lowers his head towards some text he’s reading, like looking closer at the words will make them sink in faster, so she allows herself a few minutes to stare before poking him in the cheek to bring him back to reality.

And if his spluttering and apologies about spacing out is also very cute and causes her cheeks to warm up…then what’s the harm?
