You know what sets Hinata apart from her rabid fans? She actually acknowledged some her main flaws, being selfish and too shy/reserved, whereas those fans refuse to believe and accept it, even when the character has acknowledged it herself. Hinata's semi-aware/aware of what some of her flaws are. She's not some perfect doll. They hold her up on some kind of pedestal, that doesn't exist.
