When I started watching Naruto I hated Sakura. With a passion. She was the most useless and annoying female character I had ever seen. The thing is, I hated myself at that time too. I hated the way I was and I just felt worthless. Then, when Sakura cut her hair and decided to change herself… I realized how alike we are and she made me realize that I can change myself as well; and she showed me how. Sakura has saved me from my self-hatred and depressions, and that’s why she is my heroine.
