PLEASE STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS MESSAGE (ESPECIALLY IF YOU SUPPORT COSPLAY OR ARE A COSPLAYER)

Hi, I personally am a cosplayer, and through one of my friends getting hate mail off of our ask blog I came across this page.

THIS PAGE (run by people around the age of 15 from what I saw posted) is a hate blog. It hates on cosplayers, as you can see by the “bad cosplay” and “gross-cosplay” url name. And you can ALSO see from every single post on their page.

Basically, it reblogs peoples cosplay, adding abusive commentary - OR, get this, has people go out, FIND cosplays they think are bad, and has them SUBMIT these cosplays for them to add commentary and make fun of these people. Above are just a few of the comments they have left.

I’m literally shaking with how mad I am. This is unacceptable, and It makes me wonder just HOW MANY people have stopped cosplaying, or even possibly self harmed or worse because of this. This is the definition of bullying. Cyber bullying plain and simple. not to MENTION this is completely AGAINST the tumblr terms and conditions. (please staff see this too because this is horrendous and I cant even deal, please please please see this and stop this page)

What I’m asking is to please go and report this page and get it taken down so that no more people get bullied and made fun of because they simply want to cosplay. It’s immature, rude, and just plain immoral. NO ONE should have to be bullied, whether the comment is small or large. Because there is no comment too small where it isn’t an issue. 

And it’s even more horrendous that there are tons of anons who go along with these children and help them bully. And if you are an Anon who has submitted or watches this page, please stop. What your doing is not okay, you’re bullying others, so please open your minds to this fact and think just for a second how doing this or allowing others to do this might actually result in sometime killing themselves (and in turn make you responsible for someones death).

PLEASE PLEASE HELP THIS SITUATION. REBLOG AND SPREAD THIS LIKE WILDFIRE AND HELP STOP THIS PAGE FROM BULLYING OTHERS IN THE COSPLAY COMMUNITY. THANK YOU.

Even if the cosplay doesn’t look exactly like the character, it doesn’t matter. Cosplay is about having fun!
